本日の２年生、３年生の英語にて、ウクライナ出身のアンナさんを迎え、ウクライナの文化について知る World Tour "Ukraine" の授業を行いました。「まだ見ぬ世界を知り、見える景色・繋がる世界を広げよう」がこの授業のテーマです。
アンナさんからは All Englishで、食事や衣装、建築、言語など、私たちがまだ知らないウクライナの魅力についてお話があり、彩り豊かなウクライナの様子に生徒は釘付け。「わあー！きれい！」など生徒の感嘆の声が溢れました。
アンナさんからの文化の紹介のあとは、Interaction Time（交流タイム）です。すべて英語で話してくれたアンナさんに、生徒ももちろん英語で質問しました。

- What Japanese culture do you like?（日本のどんな文化が好きですか？）
- What was the happiest thing ever?（今までで一番幸せだった出来事は？）
- What do you think about peace? What is peace?（平和とは何だと思いますか？）
- What can we do for Ukraine?（ウクライナのために私たちができることは何ですか？？）
１つ１つ回答をもらい、アンナさんと自分の言葉でつながることができたみなさん。「地球市民として」これからも見る世界を広げ、自分がしたいこと、すべきことを見つけていきましょう。
それにしても、取材陣がたくさん入って物々しかったですね。みなさんがどんなことを感じ、どんなことを考えたのかが多くの人に伝わることは嬉しいです。大勢の取材陣に物怖じせず、アンナさんとの出会いを楽しめていた様子がすてきでした。
《Summary in English》
In the 2nd and 3rd grade English classes, we welcomed Ms Anna from Ukraine as a guest teacher for the World Tour "Ukraine". Ms Anna introduced Ukrainian culture that we do not know about, and the students were fascinated by the beautiful and colorful images of Ukraine. During the interaction time, students also asked Ms Anna in English (the questions are in the Japanese article above), and we were able to deepen our exchange.
Let's continue to travel around the world through English classes to learn about diverse cultures and ways of thinking, expand the world we can see, and increase what we can do for the world!
