How Are the Results of Tomisuhara Junior High School? (School Self-Evaluation Report)

School Evaluation System

In Yokkaichi City, educational policies are structured hierarchically. The citywide guideline, the “School Education Vision,” serves as the upper-level plan, and each school develops its own “School Development Vision” based on its specific circumstances.

To review the achievement of the School Development Vision and make improvements for the following year, the school conducts self-evaluations using evidence from surveys of teachers, students, and parents. The self-evaluation reports from FY2016 (Heisei 28) through FY2024 (Reiwa 6) are published on the website of the Yokkaichi City Board of Education.

Evaluation of This School’s Priority Goals (Excerpt)

Priority Goal 1: Further Deepening Lessons Where Input and Output Circulate

Achievements:
Practical improvements were made in lesson development based on students’ questions, expanding opportunities for student choice, and utilizing thinking tools. Results of the National Assessment of Academic Ability were favorable, with science scores particularly high.

Challenges:
There is a need to consider students’ workload due to the concentration of submission deadlines for Performance Tasks (P Tasks).

Priority Goal 2: Building Positive Relationships and Caring

Achievements:
With “empathy” as a key concept, students’ awareness of human rights was strengthened.

Challenges:
Some students are not yet able to see human rights issues as their own concerns, and discriminatory language is sometimes used.

Priority Goal 3: Creating a School in Partnership with the Community

Achievements:
Connections with the community were strengthened through disaster prevention initiatives, and students’ awareness of disaster preparedness increased.

Challenges:
Students’ self-evaluation regarding prosocial attitudes in the national questionnaire survey was low.

Based on these evaluation results, we will continue updating and improving school management.

Work Style Reform for Teachers Is an Ongoing Issue

Teacher work style reform remains a major issue in school evaluations, and progress has been limited. I believe this is due to structural challenges within Japan’s educational administration system.

In this context, a leaflet issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is included on the reverse side.

En la ciudad de Yokkaichi, las políticas educativas tienen una estructura jerárquica. La “Visión de Educación Escolar” de la ciudad funciona como plan superior, y cada escuela elabora su propia “Visión de Desarrollo Escolar” de acuerdo con su realidad.

Para verificar el grado de cumplimiento de esta visión y mejorar en el siguiente año, la escuela realiza una autoevaluación utilizando como evidencia encuestas a docentes, estudiantes y padres. Los informes desde el año fiscal 2016 hasta 2024 están publicados en el sitio web del Consejo de Educación de la Ciudad de Yokkaichi.

Objetivo Prioritario 1: Profundizar las clases donde el input y el output circulan.
Logros: Mejora en clases basadas en preguntas de los estudiantes, mayor oportunidad de elección y uso de herramientas de pensamiento. Resultados favorables en la evaluación nacional, especialmente en Ciencias.
Desafíos: Necesidad de considerar la carga estudiantil por concentración de entregas de tareas de desempeño.

Objetivo Prioritario 2: Construcción de relaciones y cuidado.
Logros: Se fortaleció la conciencia sobre derechos humanos con la “empatía” como eje.
Desafíos: Dificultad para asumir los problemas de derechos humanos como propios y uso ocasional de lenguaje discriminatorio.

Objetivo Prioritario 3: Escuela en colaboración con la comunidad.
Logros: Mayor vínculo comunitario a través de la prevención de desastres.
Desafíos: Baja autoevaluación en actitudes prosociales.

Seguiremos mejorando la gestión escolar con base en estos resultados.
Solicitamos su comprensión y cooperación para brindar una mejor educación.

योकोइची शहरमा “विद्यालय शिक्षा भिजन” माथिल्लो योजना हो, र प्रत्येक विद्यालयले आफ्नो अवस्था अनुसार “विद्यालय विकास भिजन” तयार गर्छ।

विद्यालयले शिक्षक, विद्यार्थी र अभिभावक सर्वेक्षणको आधारमा उपलब्धि र चुनौतीहरूको स्व-मूल्यांकन गर्दछ। सन् २०१६ देखि २०२४ सम्मका प्रतिवेदनहरू शहर शिक्षा बोर्डको वेबसाइटमा उपलब्ध छन्।

प्राथमिक लक्ष्य १: इनपुट र आउटपुट घुम्ने कक्षाको गहिराइ।
उपलब्धि: विद्यार्थी प्रश्नमा आधारित सिकाइ, छनोट अवसर वृद्धि, सोच उपकरण प्रयोग। राष्ट्रिय परीक्षामा राम्रो नतिजा, विज्ञानमा विशेष उच्च।
चुनौती: प्रदर्शनात्मक कार्यको म्याद केन्द्रित हुँदा विद्यार्थी भार व्यवस्थापन।

उपलब्धि: “एम्प्याथी” मार्फत मानव अधिकार चेतना वृद्धि।
चुनौती: मानव अधिकार मुद्दालाई व्यक्तिगत रूपमा नलिनु र कहिलेकाहीँ विभेदकारी शब्द प्रयोग।

प्राथमिक लक्ष्य ३: समुदायसँगको विद्यालय।
उपलब्धि: विपद् व्यवस्थापनबाट समुदाय सम्बन्ध बलियो।
चुनौती: सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व सम्बन्धी आत्म-मूल्यांकन कम।

Kết quả của Trường Trung học cơ sở Tomisuhara (Báo cáo tự đánh giá)

Thành phố Yokkaichi xây dựng chính sách giáo dục theo cấu trúc phân tầng: “Tầm nhìn Giáo dục Nhà trường” của thành phố là kế hoạch cấp trên, và mỗi trường xây dựng “Tầm nhìn Phát triển Nhà trường” riêng.

Nhà trường sử dụng kết quả khảo sát giáo viên, học sinh và phụ huynh làm minh chứng để tự đánh giá thành tựu và vấn đề. Báo cáo từ năm 2016 đến 2024 được công bố trên website của Hội đồng Giáo dục thành phố.

Mục tiêu 1: Nâng cao bài học có sự tuần hoàn giữa input và output.
Thành tựu: Phát triển bài học dựa trên thắc mắc học sinh, tăng cơ hội lựa chọn, sử dụng công cụ tư duy. Kết quả khảo sát quốc gia tốt, đặc biệt môn Khoa học cao.
