In each grade’s hall, illustrations inspired by the chorus songs are on display. The songs performed by each class are as follows:

Chuẩn bị cho Lễ hội Văn hóa
Vào chiều thứ Năm, ngày 6 tháng 11, học sinh đã tiến hành trưng bày các tác phẩm nghệ thuật và tổng duyệt các tiết mục sân khấu để chuẩn bị cho Lễ hội Văn hóa diễn ra vào ngày mai.

Results of the San-shi District Junior High School English Speech Contest
The results of the San-shi District Junior High School English Speech Contest, held on Tuesday, November 4, have arrived at our school today.
The contest had two categories: the Recitation Division and the Original Speech Division. One of our students placed 2nd out of 9 participants in the Recitation Division.
An article in the Chunichi Shimbun morning edition on Wednesday, November 5, features a photo of our student delivering their speech with gestures.

Resultados del Concurso de Discursos en Inglés de Escuelas Secundarias del Distrito San-shi
Hoy hemos recibido en la escuela los resultados del Concurso de Discursos en Inglés de Escuelas Secundarias del Distrito San-shi, realizado el martes 4 de noviembre.
El concurso tuvo dos categorías: la sección de recitación y la sección de discurso original. Un/a estudiante de nuestra escuela obtuvo el segundo lugar entre los nueve participantes en la sección de recitación.
En la edición matutina del miércoles 5 de noviembre del periódico Chunichi Shimbun, aparece una fotografía del/de la estudiante de nuestra escuela pronunciando su discurso con gestos.

Kết quả Cuộc thi Hùng biện Tiếng Anh Cấp Trung học Cơ sở Khu vực San-shi
Hôm nay, trường đã nhận được kết quả của Cuộc thi Hùng biện Tiếng Anh dành cho học sinh trung học cơ sở khu vực San-shi, được tổ chức vào thứ Ba, ngày 4 tháng 11.
Cuộc thi gồm hai phần: phần đọc diễn cảm (Recitation) và phần hùng biện tự sáng tác (Original Speech). Học sinh của trường chúng ta đã đạt giải Nhì trong tổng số 9 thí sinh tham dự phần đọc diễn cảm.
Báo Chunichi Shimbun số ra buổi sáng ngày 5 tháng 11 (thứ Tư) có đăng ảnh học sinh của trường đang thuyết trình kèm theo cử chỉ minh họa.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 5, members of the Tomisuahara District Joint Voluntary Disaster Prevention Team visited our school to hold a meeting with the junior high school volunteer staff for the Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill. The FY2025 Tomisuahara District Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill will be hosted by the Tomisuahara District Joint Voluntary Disaster Prevention Team, with cooperation from related organizations, as a community-wide training event. It will take place on Sunday, November 16. As announced today in both printed form and on Home & School, Tomisuahara Junior High School will participate in this training as part of its Saturday class program. (Monday, November 17 will be a compensatory day off.) There are 16 junior high school student volunteers, and their roles include: first-aid stretcher training, disaster prevention equipment and goods exhibition, disaster prevention apps, water-based fire extinguisher training, generator operation experience, disaster warehouse tour, water-absorbing sandbag demonstration, alpha rice cooking drill, and announcements from the headquarters. Today, we are confirming role assignments and holding a meeting.

El Simulacro General de Prevención de Desastres del Distrito de Tomisuahara del año fiscal 2025 será organizado por el Equipo Conjunto de Prevención de Desastres del Distrito de Tomisuahara, en coordinación con las instituciones relacionadas, como un entrenamiento comunitario. On Tuesday, November 4, the second term teaching practicum began, and a student teacher has joined us. The subject is English. Since the student teacher has already visited our school several times as a volunteer, many students may already know them.
During the practicum, our school teachers will serve as supervising instructors and will mainly provide guidance after school. Today, in the student teacher’s preparation room, the supervising teacher was giving advice while reviewing the lesson plan that the student teacher had prepared.
The teaching practicum will continue until Sunday, November 16, which is the day of the Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill.

Inicio de las Prácticas Docentes del Segundo Trimestre
El martes 4 de noviembre comenzaron las prácticas docentes del segundo trimestre, y un estudiante en formación se ha incorporado a nuestra escuela. La asignatura es inglés. Como ya ha venido varias veces como voluntario/a, muchos estudiantes probablemente ya lo/la conocen.
Durante las prácticas, el profesorado de nuestra escuela actuará como docente supervisor, brindando orientación principalmente después de las clases. Hoy, en la sala de preparación del practicante, el profesor supervisor ofreció orientación mientras revisaba el plan de lección elaborado por el practicante.
Las prácticas continuarán hasta el domingo 16 de noviembre, día en que se realizará el Simulacro Integral de Prevención de Desastres.

नोभेम्बर ४ (मंगलवार) देखि दोस्रो सत्रको अध्यापन अभ्यास (Teaching Practicum) सुरु भएको छ, र एक शिक्षण अभ्यास विद्यार्थी विद्यालयमा आएका छन्। विषय अङ्ग्रेजी हो। उनी पहिले नै स्वयंसेवकको रूपमा विद्यालयमा धेरै पटक आएका भएकाले धेरै विद्यार्थीहरूले पहिले नै उनलाई चिनेका हुन सक्छन्।

Bắt đầu Đợt Thực tập Giảng dạy Học kỳ II
Vào thứ Ba, ngày 4 tháng 11, đợt thực tập giảng dạy học kỳ II đã bắt đầu, và một sinh viên thực tập sư phạm đã đến trường. Môn học là Tiếng Anh. Vì sinh viên này đã nhiều lần đến trường tham gia hoạt động tình nguyện, nên có lẽ nhiều học sinh đã quen biết.
Trong thời gian thực tập, giáo viên của trường sẽ đóng vai trò giáo viên hướng dẫn, chủ yếu hỗ trợ và hướng dẫn sau giờ học. Hôm nay, tại phòng làm việc của sinh viên thực tập, giáo viên hướng dẫn đã xem xét và góp ý cho kế hoạch bài học mà sinh viên đã chuẩn bị.
Đợt thực tập sẽ kéo dài đến Chủ nhật, ngày 16 tháng 11, trùng với ngày diễn tập phòng chống thiên tai toàn diện.
November is Mie Prefecture’s Bullying Prevention Reinforcement Month. At our school, we have displayed a bullying prevention banner sent by the Yokkaichi City Board of Education at the school entrance. Today, we also distributed the leaflet “For Our Irreplaceable Children.” The leaflet explains the definition of bullying, recent trends, and the growing problem of bullying using smartphones and other devices. It also describes signs that may indicate bullying. Please take a moment to read it carefully.

Noviembre es el Mes de Refuerzo para la Prevención del Acoso Escolar en la prefectura de Mie. En nuestra escuela, hemos colocado en la entrada un estandarte de prevención del acoso escolar enviado por la Junta de Educación de la Ciudad de Yokkaichi. For that reason, your seniors have discussed these rules through the student council and made revisions over time. We hope you will think about your own situation— that is, the stage of life called “junior high school”— make your own judgments, and build relationships where you can remind and support one another based on those judgments.

School Rules Are “Common Rules” So That Everyone Can Learn in Comfort
We understand that some students may wish for more freedom in their clothing, hairstyle, or personal belongings. However, when you think that “everyone should be free,” please also consider whether that freedom might cause burden or uneasiness to someone else. While things like clothing, hairstyles, and belongings are not directly related to study, they can sometimes distract students, cause trouble, or make others feel uneasy or less able to concentrate. These are situations the school wishes to avoid. Therefore, school rules serve as an effective means to prevent such issues.
Junior High School Is a Place to Learn Social Rules and Manners, Not Only Academic Subjects
Keeping time, maintaining neat appearance, and being considerate in public behavior—these are important abilities for your future social life. Junior high school is not only a place to study subjects, but also a place to learn these social rules and manners through group activities. For this reason, our school asks you to maintain appropriate appearance and behavior depending on the place and purpose.

¿Para qué existen las normas escolares?
Las normas escolares son acuerdos mínimos necesarios para que todos puedan disfrutar de la vida escolar —un lugar de aprendizaje— de forma segura, saludable y agradable. Por eso, sus compañeros mayores han discutido y revisado estas normas a través del consejo estudiantil. Nos gustaría que cada uno piense en su propia etapa actual —la etapa de “escuela secundaria”—, tome sus propias decisiones y construya relaciones en las que puedan recordarse y apoyarse mutuamente basándose en esas decisiones.
El texto anterior se incluyó en la “Guía para los nuevos estudiantes – Año escolar 2025” y expresa la manera de pensar de nuestra escuela sobre las normas escolares.
Las normas escolares son “reglas comunes” para que todos puedan aprender con tranquilidad
Entendemos que algunos estudiantes deseen más libertad en su vestimenta, peinado o pertenencias personales. “Nội quy trường học” là những quy định tối thiểu cần thiết để mọi người có thể học tập và sinh hoạt trong môi trường học đường một cách an toàn, lành mạnh và vui vẻ. Vì lý do đó, các anh chị khóa trước đã thảo luận và sửa đổi các nội quy này thông qua Hội học sinh. Chúng tôi mong rằng các em sẽ suy nghĩ về vị trí của mình — tức là giai đoạn “học sinh trung học cơ sở” — tự đưa ra quyết định và cùng nhau xây dựng mối quan hệ trong đó các em có thể nhắc nhở và hỗ trợ lẫn nhau.

On Sunday, November 2, we visited Tomisuahara Elementary School’s Sports Day together with the members of the Community School Committee. The Sports Day was originally scheduled for yesterday, but it was postponed for one day because the schoolyard was not in good condition due to Friday’s rain. This year, the Sports Day is being held in November, so there is no risk of heatstroke. Today’s weather is refreshing, and the ground is slightly moist, making it a very comfortable day for the event. Many parents and guardians have also come to watch.

El domingo 2 de noviembre, visitamos el Día Deportivo de la Escuela Primaria Tomisuahara junto con los miembros del Comité de la Escuela Comunitaria. El evento estaba programado para ayer, pero se pospuso un día porque el estado del patio no era bueno debido a la lluvia del viernes. Vào Chủ nhật, ngày 2 tháng 11, chúng tôi đã cùng các thành viên của Ủy ban Trường học Cộng đồng đến tham dự Ngày Hội Thể thao của Trường Tiểu học Tomisuahara. Ngày hội thể thao ban đầu dự định được tổ chức vào hôm qua, nhưng đã được hoãn lại một ngày vì sân trường bị ướt do mưa hôm thứ Sáu. Năm nay, Ngày Hội Thể thao được tổ chức vào tháng 11 nên không có nguy cơ say nắng. Thời tiết hôm nay thật dễ chịu, sân hơi ẩm nên buổi lễ diễn ra rất thoải mái. Rất nhiều phụ huynh cũng đã đến tham dự.
On Friday, October 31, during the lunchtime broadcast, the Student Council reported on their project called “Relay of Kindness through Things.” This activity aimed to deliver items that are “still usable but no longer needed” to people who can make use of them. With the cooperation of Tomisuahara Elementary School and Tomisuahara Kindergarten, donations were collected from Friday, September 19 to Thursday, October 2.
All donated items were delivered to the NPO Mottainai Japan and the NPO Arigatou Book.

El viernes 31 de octubre, durante la transmisión del mediodía, el Consejo Estudiantil presentó un informe sobre su proyecto llamado “Cadena de bondad a través de los objetos”. Esta actividad tiene como objetivo entregar a las personas necesitadas aquellos artículos que “todavía pueden usarse pero ya no se necesitan”. Con la colaboración de la Escuela Primaria Tomisuahara y el Jardín Infantil Tomisuahara, se realizó una campaña de recolección de donaciones del viernes 19 de septiembre al jueves 2 de octubre.
Los artículos donados fueron entregados a las organizaciones NPO Mottainai Japan y NPO Arigatou Book.

Đây là hoạt động nhằm trao tặng cho những người cần đến các đồ vật “vẫn còn dùng được nhưng không còn sử dụng nữa.” Với sự hợp tác của Trường Tiểu học Tomisuahara và Trường Mầm non Tomisuahara, chiến dịch quyên góp đã được thực hiện từ thứ Sáu, ngày 19 tháng 9 đến thứ Năm, ngày 2 tháng 10.

On Friday, October 31, five fire prevention posters were delivered to our school. We were asked to display them on campus in connection with the National Autumn Fire Prevention Campaign, which will be conducted nationwide for seven days from Sunday, November 9 to Saturday, November 15.
Among the five posters, the Best Award in the Junior High School Division was given to a third-year student from Tomisuahara Junior High School. You will probably see this excellent poster displayed in various places over the coming year.

El viernes 31 de octubre, se entregaron cinco carteles de prevención de incendios a nuestra escuela. Se nos pidió exhibirlos en el colegio con motivo de la Campaña Nacional de Prevención de Incendios de Otoño, que se llevará a cabo en todo el país durante siete días, desde el domingo 9 de noviembre hasta el sábado 15 de noviembre.
Entre los cinco carteles, el premio mayor en la categoría de escuela secundaria fue otorgado a un estudiante de tercer año de la Escuela Secundaria Tomisuahara. Seguramente podrán ver este excelente cartel en muchos lugares durante el próximo año.

Vào thứ Sáu, ngày 31 tháng 10, trường chúng ta đã nhận được 5 tấm áp phích tuyên truyền phòng cháy chữa cháy. Nhà trường được đề nghị treo các áp phích này trong khuôn viên để hưởng ứng Chiến dịch Toàn quốc Phòng chống Cháy nổ Mùa Thu, được tổ chức trên toàn Nhật Bản trong 7 ngày, từ Chủ nhật 9 tháng 11 đến thứ Bảy 15 tháng 11.
Trong số 5 tấm áp phích đó, giải Xuất sắc nhất hạng mục Trung học cơ sở đã được trao cho một học sinh năm thứ ba của Trường Trung học cơ sở Tomisuahara. Tác phẩm xuất sắc này sẽ được trưng bày ở nhiều nơi trong suốt năm tới.
