Keeping Things Clean

Thank you for the weeding work
On Sunday, despite it being a holiday, many people participated in the weeding activity.
This year, because of the renovation work on the athletic field, the renovated area had much fewer weeds than usual. In other areas, although we have been carrying out weeding periodically as much as possible, some areas still had weeds growing vigorously.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the school’s appearance has become very clean. Now we can all look forward to the sports festival in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you very much.

Let’s look inside the school building
Do you think the inside of the school is being kept clean?
At the end of the first term, there was a major cleaning, and thanks to the thorough efforts at that time, the school building became very clean.

But how about now?
Everyone may feel differently, but in fact, I have been noticing for quite some time that the cleaning has been insufficient. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.

Why the town stays clean
This may seem like a digression, but on my way to work, I always pass by a man carrying metal tongs and a garbage bag, picking up trash as he walks.
If I leave home earlier or later than usual, I pass him in a different spot. It seems he covers a wide area along the same route every day.

Near the railway crossing close to my house, cigarette butts are sometimes scattered in large quantities. Along the tracks where I walk my dog, I often see discarded masks, cans, or even household garbage in plastic bags. Probably because no one is watching, people just throw them away instead of taking them home to dispose of properly.

But the route this man walks is always kept clean.

Garbage collection sites
It’s the same with school garbage, but also with household garbage. Everyone puts out their trash at the collection site on the designated morning when the garbage truck comes.
If the net is not placed properly over the garbage, crows search for food and scatter the trash. The scattered garbage is not collected and remains behind. I’m sure you have all seen garbage like this.

Last Thursday
I passed by the same man silently picking up garbage scattered by crows.
It was probably not even his collection site, nor his own trash. I think he simply could not ignore seeing the town he tries to keep clean becoming dirty.

And me, who leaves it
Meanwhile, I tell myself excuses like “I’m driving and don’t have time,” “I don’t have cleaning tools with me right now,” or “It wasn’t me who threw it away.” Even though I notice the garbage, I just leave it there.

What can be done in 10 minutes
When walking around the school, I often see people neatly arranging the slippers in the restroom.
During the major cleaning, I also see many of you working carefully.
Knowing how diligent you can be, I believe that if everyone puts in just ten minutes of real effort each day, we can keep the school clean enough.

After all, there is already a set time for cleaning.

Mantener la limpieza

Gracias por el trabajo de deshierbe
El domingo, a pesar de ser día festivo, muchas personas participaron en la jornada de deshierbe.
Este año, debido a las obras de renovación en el campo deportivo, la zona renovada tenía muchas menos malas hierbas que de costumbre. En otras zonas, aunque se ha intentado deshierbar periódicamente, todavía quedaban partes donde la hierba había crecido con fuerza.

Gracias al esfuerzo de todos, la apariencia de la escuela quedó muy limpia. Ahora podemos esperar el festival deportivo en un ambiente agradable. Muchas gracias.

Miremos dentro del edificio escolar
¿Piensan que el interior de la escuela se mantiene limpio?
Al final del primer trimestre, hubo una limpieza general, y gracias al trabajo minucioso, el edificio quedó muy limpio.

Pero, ¿cómo está ahora?
Cada persona puede sentirlo de manera distinta, pero en realidad, desde hace tiempo he notado que la limpieza es insuficiente. Y no creo ser el único que lo piensa.

Por qué la ciudad se mantiene limpia
Quizás sea un desvío del tema, pero en mi camino al trabajo siempre me cruzo con un hombre que lleva pinzas metálicas largas y una bolsa de basura, recogiendo desechos mientras camina.
Si salgo más temprano o más tarde de lo habitual, me lo cruzo en otro lugar. Parece que recorre un área bastante grande todos los días en la misma ruta.

Cerca del cruce ferroviario de mi casa, a veces hay una gran cantidad de colillas de cigarrillo. En el camino junto a las vías donde paseo a mi perro, se encuentran mascarillas, latas o incluso bolsas con basura doméstica. Como nadie los ve, la gente las tira en vez de llevarlas a casa para desecharlas correctamente.

Pero la ruta de este hombre siempre está limpia.

Puntos de recolección de basura
Con la basura escolar y la doméstica pasa lo mismo. Todos sacamos la basura por la mañana en los días que pasa el camión recolector.
Si no se coloca bien la red sobre la basura, los cuervos buscan comida y la esparcen. La basura desparramada no se recoge y queda allí. Seguramente ustedes también lo han visto.

El jueves pasado
Pasé junto al mismo hombre que recogía en silencio la basura esparcida por los cuervos.
Probablemente no era su punto de recolección, ni era su propia basura. Simplemente no podía ignorar que el pueblo que ayuda a mantener limpio se ensuciara.

Y yo, que lo dejo estar
Yo, en cambio, me excuso diciendo: “Voy conduciendo y no tengo tiempo”, “No llevo herramientas de limpieza ahora” o “No fui yo quien lo tiró”. Aunque veo la basura, la dejo allí.

Lo que se puede hacer en 10 minutos
Al recorrer la escuela, a menudo veo a personas que ordenan las sandalias del baño.
También he visto a muchos de ustedes trabajar con esmero en la limpieza general.
Sabiendo cómo son cuando se lo proponen, creo que con solo diez minutos de limpieza diaria sería suficiente para mantener todo en buen estado.

Después de todo, ya tenemos tiempo destinado a la limpieza.

झारपात सफाइको लागि धन्यवाद
आइतबार, बिदा भए पनि धेरैजना झारपात हटाउने कार्यक्रममा सहभागी हुनु भयो।
यस वर्ष खेलमैदानमा मर्मतकार्य भएकाले, मर्मत गरिएको क्षेत्रमा अरू वर्षभन्दा झार धेरै कम थियो। अरू क्षेत्रमा समय–समयमा सफाइ भए पनि कतिपय भागमा झार धेरै बढेको थियो।

सबैको सहयोगले विद्यालयको बाहिरी रूप निकै सफा देखिन्छ। अब हामी सबै आरामदायी वातावरणमा खेलकुद उत्सव मनाउन सक्छौं। धन्यवाद।

Giữ gìn sự sạch sẽ

Vào Chủ nhật, mặc dù là ngày nghỉ, nhiều người đã tham gia buổi nhổ cỏ.
Năm nay, do sân thể thao được cải tạo, khu vực đã cải tạo ít cỏ dại hơn nhiều so với những năm trước. Ở những khu vực khác, dù đã dọn cỏ định kỳ trong phạm vi có thể, nhưng vẫn có nơi cỏ mọc xanh tốt.
