On Thursday, January 8, the first school lunch of the third term was fried yellowtail with a seasoned sauce, namasu-style salad, New Year soup (zōni), rice, and milk.
You can’t see it in the photo, but there is a round rice cake (mochi) sunk in the zōni.

El jueves 8 de enero, el primer almuerzo escolar del tercer trimestre fue: corvina amarilla frita con salsa aromática, ensalada estilo namasu, sopa de Año Nuevo (zōni), arroz y leche.
Aunque no se ve en la foto, dentro del zōni hay un pastel de arroz redondo (mochi) hundido.
