令和６年の三重県における交通事故のうち中学生の負傷者数は７０人、うち自転車乗車中が４４人でした。自転車乗車中の交通事故は中１で特に多く、自転車乗車中の事故の半数以上が自宅近くで起こっていました。自転車事故では自転車側の交通違反の割合が高いということです。
